রমজান উপলক্ষে বগুড়ায় ভোক্তা অধিদপ্তরের বিশেষ অভিযান

মাহে রমজান উপলক্ষে বগুড়ায় ভোক্তা অধিকার সংরক্ষণ অধিদপ্তর শহরের ৮টি প্রতিষ্ঠানে জরিমানা করেছে। অভিযান পরিচালনা করেন বগুড়া জেলা কার্যালয়ের সহকারী পরিচালক ইফতেখারুল আলম রিজভী।
জানা গেছে, জাতীয় ভোক্তা-অধিকার সংরক্ষণ অধিদপ্তরের মহাপরিচালক(অতিরিক্ত সচিব) মহোদয়ের অর্পিত ক্ষমতাবলে, জেলা প্রশাসকের সহযোগিতায় বগুড়া জেলা কার্যালয়ের সহকারী পরিচালক ইফতেখারুল আলম রিজভী এর নেতৃত্বে
শহরের বনানী ও ফুলতলা কাঁচা (সবজি) বাজারে
এই অভিযান পরিচালনা করেন।
মূল্য তালিকা প্রদর্শন না করা এবং বিক্রয়ের রসিদ না থাকার অপরাধে ৮ টি প্রতিষ্ঠানকে ভোক্তা অধিকার সংরক্ষণ আইনে ১২,০০০/- (বারো হাজার) টাকা জরিমানা করা হয়। জেলা নিরাপদ খাদ্য অফিস এবং জেলা পুলিশের একটি চৌকশ দল সহযোগীতা করেন।
এ বিষয়ে জাতীয় ভোক্তা অধিকার সংরক্ষণ বগুড়া জেলা কার্যালয়ের সহকারী পরিচালক ইফতেখারুল আলম রিজভী জানান, পবিত্র রমজান মাস উপলক্ষ্যে বিশেষ অভিযান পরিচালনা করা হয়েছে। ৮টি দোকানে মূল্য তালিকা ও বিক্রয়ের রসিদ না থাকায় ১২ হাজার টাকা জরিমানা করে হয়েছে। জনস্বার্থে এ ধরনের তদারকি অব্যাহত থাকবে।
